This is Charlie, Rosie’s 11 year old chocolate labrador who she’s had since he was a puppy. Charlie is from working stock (farm dogs) so he is taller and leaner than your average lab. He is on a raw food diet as he gets bad ears when he eats wheat or gluten, and he moults terribly if not on yumega (a supplement that helps retain and strengthen the coat). He loves going for walks and is still very healthy and active. Charlie is the is the model for our logo.
Next up we have Harvey, Rosie’s 7 year old. He is a flat coated cocker spaniel, so doesn’t need to be clipped. Harvey was rehomed when he was 10 months old. He loves to roll in anything stinky he finds while out on a walk and is incredibly greedy and can sniff out anything even vaguely edible. He is a very needy dog that needs a lot of attention and likes to sit as close to you as possible.
Harvey is allergic to pollen and can get awful welts on his paws and sometimes on his muzzle. We have to keep his paws shaved very short and if welts appear we use athletes foot powder to dry them out and then a combination of shampoos and sprays to get rid of them altogether.
But despite all this, we still love him xx
Harvey and Charlie get on really well together and always have. Harvey was one of our early customers and Charlie always used to play with him when Harvey came in for his puppy classes.
